The Champion's Corner Presents: The Secret of True Success

There are many things that separate successful people from others. One of the biggest differences between the two is that truly successful people operate out of love and abundance where others operate from fear and scarcity. Those who operate out of love and abundance are following the natural order of the universe. They understand that you receive by giving and they give freely. Truly successful people understand that they are successful because of the people who helped them along the way and they are willing to do the same for others. They understand the law of attraction and send out good vibrations into the world and toward others and are never surprised when good fortune comes back to them.

Those that operate out of fear and scarcity do not give freely for fear of not getting back what they have sent out. They chase after success and their life becomes the chase and never the success. Their number one motivating factor is not to fail, and as a result they are playing the game not to lose. Whereas truly successful people, operating out of love and abundance, are motivated by the love of what they do and who they are. As a result they play the game not only to win but as a winner. Being successful is never the goal it is the reality.

It's not about who you know...

When it comes to getting ahead, we have all heard it said that "It's not about what you know, but who you know". I beg to differ. I don't think it is really about who or what you know, but rather who wants to know you! Anybody can say they know important and influential people. But what if these important and influential people wanted to get to know you. What if the president of your company, whom you never see or have met, wanted to get your thoughts on the company's 2010 strategies. What if instead of reading Oprah's book, she wanted to read yours. What if the people you highly respect and look up to in your line of work, all wanted to get to know you? Now, that would be saying something. That would say you are making such an impact that they feel a need to connect with you. It says that they have recognized your value and you are someone they respect and find interest. So don't work so hard on trying to meet great influencial people.  Just be great and watch the influencial people come up to meet you!
